Waiting on Wednesday

Waiting on Wednesday is an idea borrowed from Jill at Breaking the Spine.

Once upon a time, I went to have tea with RJ Anderson, and left with a book (this happens a lot, btw, and thank goodness because I love the library, but sometimes it takes FOREVER). In this case, the book was Myra McEntire’s HOURGLASS, because the cover was gorgeous and amazing (and taken by a Canadian!).

And so I read HOURGLASS, up to the wee small hours of the morning, quite in love with the heroine, the Doctor Who jokes, and the way that Emerson taught herself fashion so she’d be able to identify the time periods she saw.

Then I found out that HOURGLASS was getting a second book, with another cover by the same photographer and, well, obviously I am in for that.

Seriously!

A threat from the past could destroy the future.

Kaleb Ballard was never supposed to be able to see ripples–cracks in time. Are his powers expanding, or is something very wrong?

The Hourglass organization is given an ultimatum by a mysterious man. Either they find [SPOILERS] and the research he has stolen on people who might carry the time gene, or time will be altered–with devastating results for the people Kaleb loves most. Now Kaleb, Emerson, Michael, and the other Hourglass recruits have no choice but to use their extraordinary powers to find [SPOILERS]. But where do they even start? And when? Even if they succeed, just finding him may not be enough …

TIMEPIECE comes out on June 12, 2012. I am very, very excited.

And for posterity, here is the photographer: http://www.lissyelle.com/index.php
She also took some FABULOUS Harry Potter photos: http://favim.com/image/45600/
